Hello Spring

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both

now and to the day of eternity. 2 Peter 3:18

Dear Friends,

Spring brings growth! At the Lighthouse spring is a time when we plant, and watch our

farm animals thrive. As we are anticipating the 2024 season, our director Shirley Willis

took some time to reflect on the journey and growth of Anne.

“Anne has been with the

Lighthouse since 2000. Anne is the epitome of all things Lighthouse. In Anne’s tenure

here she has done it all. She has been in charge of naming the cows, meal preparation,

grocery shopping, cleaning, gardening, lawn mowing and stuffing envelopes. She is my

go to help when anyone falls short. She knows the inner workings of the Lighthouse like

the back of her hand.

Anne remembers when things were different but she will agree the one thing that has not

changed is our ongoing relationship with our Lord and Savior and all our prayers are

from the heart and answered.

The next chapter for Anne has begun with a freshly painted and carpeted new room. She

is looking forward to independently attending church and the Sons and Daughthers

ministry to build friendships. She has been active in downhill skiing with Special

Olympics for 25 years and will compete soon. As part of our local bowling league Anne

has recently scored her game high of 149.
